This is the name of the building owned by the Jambudvipa Trust in Pune, and it maintains that name even though the Manuski Trust is now completely independent and based nearby. The name “Manuski” was one of Dr. Ambedkar’s favourite words, and means humanity, with connotations of respect, dignity and compassion. The following activities take place from this centre.
- Meditation classes and workshops
- The Ashoka Dhammaduta programme: Four women from Pune who were trained at Nagaloka are taking Dr. Ambedkar’s message of empowerment for women to different groups of women in and around Pune who are from disadvantaged communities who have not heard Dr.Ambedkar’s message.
- Study facilities for local students: The Manuski Centre provides facilities for self study for local young people.
